The latest
Hello Everyone,
I thought I would give you some weight updates and some other news in Triplet world!
Alex is 4lb 7oz, Benjamin is 3lb 11oz, and Cameron is 4lb 9oz.
Alex and Cameron got circumcised on Tuesday. Ben will most likely get his done next week. Since he is still in an incubater they have to wait until he is in an open crib. He will get moved into an open crib in the next few days as long as he maintains his own body temperature, then a few days after that he can be circumcised.
The doctors have been talking about sending Alex and Cameron home sometime next week, as early as Monday. This is pending they get through the weekend with out and complications and they have to pass their car seat test. That is where they are put into the car seat for 90 minutes, and they can't have any heart rate decelerations that last longer than 20 seconds.
For those of you who haven't heard.......Jackie has decided to stay with us full time. She is going to live with us for a year! She is a real life saver.
That is about it for now.

Two Boys One Bed!
Alex and Cameron are finally together again! The two of them are doing really well so it was time to put them in the same bed. The doctors think they do better together. Benjamin is well on his way to joining his brothers. He was taken off the extra oxygen this morning and the nurse said he has been breathing normally and they will continue to keep a close eye on him. Once they feel comfortable that he can maintain stability he will join Alex and Cameron.

up to the minute report
I just got back from a sonogram. The baby that is smaller seems to have a bit of restriction to his cord. Hence the lack of growth. They are now going to put him on the fetal monitor for an hour in the morning and an hour at night. If there are any signs of struggle, I will be sent down for a sonogram and the doctor will reassess. We are just taking it day by day now. Also he seems to think only two are identical and one is a singleton. I don't care......I just want them healthy.

The doctor weighed the babies today.....2 lbs 1 oz, 2 lbs 7 oz, and 2 lbs 12 oz. He is a little concerned about the smaller one and will start doing sonograms twice a week now. He did grow some since the last weigh in but not nearly as much as the other 2. We are not in panic mode just yet! Just keeping a close eye out for growth. In other news......I have gone into labor two times this week and they have given me medicine to stop it.....so far that has worked and we are thankful that I am in the hospital at this point. Better to be here than at home obviously!
I want to again thank everyone for their love and support.
Love to all.

Out of my room!
I was allowed out of my room today! Mom and Dad took me for a ride in a wheel chair outside for 20 whole minutes. The fresh air was wonderful. The nurse took my blood pressure when I got back to the room and all was normal. So they will let me out again soon. A friend of mind is coming in on Tuesday to have a scheduled C-section so I may get wheeled down to visit her! I hope the doctor checks the babies by sonogram tomorrow, check in for a new report!

One week down
Well I have been on hospital bed rest for a little over a week now. The nurses and all the staff up here are great. The food is actually pretty good. Although any time anyone wants to bring in a meal.....I won't argue!!! My blood pressure has been stable since my arrival. Just goes to show how good bed rest can be. The down side is I miss the heck out of Ethan and Rob. I do get the occasional visits though. All the love and support from friends and family has been so wonderful and I have to really thank everyone for that. Thank you to all who have come to see me and called to check on me, really THANKS! My doctor is out of town until Wednesday so I may not have any sugnificant updates on the babies until then. Keep tuning in!

Hospital
For those of you who don't know.....I am in the hospital. The doctor wants me on bed rest here and close monitoring for high blood pressure and signs of Preeclampsia. I feel good and the blood pressure has gone down since I have been taking it easy. I have my own room and the food is not too bad. I am in the Jones building at Harris Downtown. For those of you who know me call Rob to get the room number and phone number. You can call Jerry and Sylvia or Melissa too!
There is no limit on the visiting hours and I am always in my room.

October 4th
Hey guys! I have to go to the doctor tomorrow to take a 3 hour diabetes test, I failed the one hour so just to be sure it wasn't a false positive they do this longer one. Plus the doctor wanted to give me a complete check up and he will tell me if I have to be admitted to the hospital.
Hopefully I will get to come home and post the good news....otherwise I hope the hospital has Internet access!

Well guys....a bit of bad news from the doctor today....he is talking about putting me in the hospital for the rest of the pregnancy. I will know something on Thursday or Friday. I had some tests done this morning and along with high blood pressure he is worried about pre-eclampsia. Of course I will keep you all posted and I will add some sonogram pictures tomorrow morning.

September 25th
Hello all,
I saw the doctor today, the babies are all great. He just warned me to really start seriously taking it easy. He is starting to see signs that I might have to go on bed rest. But for now I am fine. We are really trying to nail down some names. That is where we are this week. Keep checking in.

23 Week weigh in!
I saw the doctor September 11th. The babies weigh in at 15oz, 1lb, and 1lb 1oz. He said they are right on target for their age. He also did a test for signs there might be premature labor before 29 weeks. It was negative! There is still no telling when they will come exactly, we are shooting for at least 34 weeks.
Also...we took the plunge.....We got a mini van! It is the 2008 Toyota Sienna. Red. It's nice...for a mini- van!

A Helping Hand
I recently received a batch of hand-me-downs from my great friend Tracey. She had a little boy in March and doesn't plan on any more children.
A very generous woman on my husbands Miller route gave us some hand-me-downs...most had never even been worn.
I want to say a big thanks to both of them.
I NOW HAVE ENOUGH CLOTHES FOR THE TRIPLETS TO GET THROUGH AT LEAST THE FIRST 6 MONTHS!!!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Visit to the specialist
After finding out we were having triplets I began to see a specialist in high risk pregnancies. On June 12th I went in to find out they are identical.
Day we found out
On June 7th My husband and I went in to the doctor for our routine first sonogram. We expected to see our little bean for the first time. When they turned on the machine I immediately saw 2 babies. Just as the sonographer was saying..."just be glad it's only 2" She let out a gasp and then there were 3 babies on the screen! We have no multiples in the family. We did NOT use fertility drugs.
