Triplets are 3!

It's been way too long since I last posted! But as you can all imagine I have been busy! We celebrated the boys 3rd birthday, November 6th, with their friends at our local McDonalds!  They had a great time and received lots of nice gifts.

As of the last few weeks they have really figured out the whole language thing! They are talking up a storm instead of using just one or two words at a time we are getting five and six word sentences. They are starting to grow up fast now and it is getting harder and harder to call them "the babies" anymore!

Ethan's doing so well, has totally adjusted to public school and has made some nice new friends while keeping the old when he goes to Sunday school with 13 of the kids from his old school!
I had a conference with his teacher this afternoon, she gave me his test scores that are based on national averaged....he is well above average on all but one skill and even that one he was above average just not well above!!  We are so very proud of him.  Ethan is still a great big brother and is enjoying the guys so much more now that they are more active on his level.

New School year

Well folks my Ethan just started Kindergarten! He is attending a new school the only kids he knows there are brother and sister from our neighborhood and both are are in different grades.

The first day of school he came home and told me he has a new best friend named Cole! That's my boy~

The triplets have a wonderful new teacher this year and they have an assistant teacher Ms. Ella who was their lead teacher last year and I think that gives them great comfort upon entering a new room.

They are really coming into themselves with their speech and independant personalities.

As for the parents...we have been coping nanny free for about 4 months.

Jackie is really enjoying her job with the Sheriffs department keeping criminals in their place (jail)! She is still living with us and lets us get out on occassion and we are greatful for that!

UPDATE

So it's been a long, long time since I last posted.

The boys are going to be 3 in November and I just noticed that my last post was them turning 2!

That's how busy I have been. Not to mention that Facebook has really taken over the need for a blog.

In any event...........

The boys are great all about 30 lbs and happy as ever

Benjamin got glasses about 3 months ago and Cameron may need a minor eye surgery, I will find out in a few weeks.

Alex has really come a long way with the head squeezer!!! (Crainial therapist)

Ethan is still the best boy I know~ loving sweet brother. He is going to start Kindergarten in August can you believe my big boy is getting so old??

We are TWO!!!!

Ok folks, we have made it through year two with our terrific trio!
All three are walking now....yahhhhoooo!
They are still the sweetist guys you could ever know.....besides our great Ethan.
They got a round of shots today including the H1N1 mist (for swine flu) and the regular flu shot!

Their official weights and sizes are as follows:

Alexander-25lbs 11oz and 33 inches

Benjamin- 24lbs 11oz and 32 3/4 inches I think he wiggled and is really the same size!

Cameron- 25lbs 5oz and 33 inches

So if you look back in time or cared enough to remember, Cameron has always been about a half pound less than Alex and Ben has been a half pound less than Cameron. So right on target with that!

Our doctor says they are doing great no major concerns!

20 Months

We have been having ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) come to the house for all kinds of therapy for the triplets to help them get caught up.
Each time they come they get weighed so here is the report:

Alex- 22 lbs 15oz and 31 1/2 inches

Ben- 22 lbs 4oz and 31 1/2 inches

Cameron- 22 lbs 7oz 31 3/4 inches

The nutrition therapist said she was done with them....we put her out of business because they are caught up!

The oral therapist said she was done working with them on the chewing and now we will start speech therapy with her.

Cameron has taken 6 consecutive steps, Alex is still just taking one at a time and Ben is still my little froggy!

No one is walking yet, although Cameron took two steps on his own today.

They eat anything I put in front of them...thank goodness!

All three are very happy and seldom cry.

We are off bottles all together and have just three meals a day now! YEAH!

They go to bed around 7 and sleep til 7:30am and then go back to sleep til about 11 eat at 12:30pm and then nap again at 1:30 til about 4 then eat dinner at 5:30.

Ethan is a great big brother and we couldn't be more proud of him.

He will be starting summer camp next week and the can you believe he will be in Pre-K next fall.

13 Months

The boys went to the doctor for their one year check up. The doctor said if you had asked him a year ago where he expected them to be at a year old, that they have actually exceeded his expectations! Here are their weights:

Alexander- 21 lbs 4 oz

Benjamin- 20 lbs 2 oz

Cameron- 21 lbs 2 oz

They are all about 30 inches in length.

We can actually say in height for Alex since he stands up now!
