13 Months

The boys went to the doctor for their one year check up. The doctor said if you had asked him a year ago where he expected them to be at a year old, that they have actually exceeded his expectations! Here are their weights:

Alexander- 21 lbs 4 oz

Benjamin- 20 lbs 2 oz

Cameron- 21 lbs 2 oz

They are all about 30 inches in length.

We can actually say in height for Alex since he stands up now!

This is Alex. He didn't pull up. We put him there because he always tries to stand in our laps. We tried it out and he liked it. He stood there for quite a while and played with the links.

First Field Trip

Ethan went on his first field trip today with his school. They went to French Lake for Tashlik, to cast away "their bad choices" and promise to TRY to make all good choices next year.

Out to dinner.

We took the triplets out to dinner for the first time last night. They got to go to Mexican Inn on Camp Bowie. They behaved themselves...it was their 3 1/2 year old brother that was the trouble maker. But he is still a little kid himself so we don't mind a little trouble from him, especially when we are out with the triplets.

I found some time!

With Ethan back in school I found time to start making my own baby food.
I started with carrots. I got 2 bundles of carrots for $1.34 each and it made 20 jars worth of food. Those cost 46 cents each at Walmart. YOU DO THE MATH!!!
I am set to do peas next! It only took about an hour so it is well worth it.
Ethan used to eat 3 jars at a time.....so with three babies eating three jars each....we would be in the poor house.

Doctor check up update!

We took the triplets to their 9 month check-up today.
They now weigh in at:
Alexander- 19lbs and 28 inches
Benjamin- 17lbs 9oz and 28 inches
Cameron- 18lbs 12oz and 28 1/2 inches
They each got one shot and were super troopers!
He said they are all right where they need to be for this age and development.
